Educational Programs
- Talk with me is a bilingual program designed to give parents new tools and methods for teaching their children. It is also a great way to get out of the house and spend some time in a group setting with other parents and children. This is a free program hosted by Speech-Language Pathologists for children under 5 and their caretakers. Groups are divided by age. - Babies wanted- Infant Scientists- Help us find out how babies learn to think about other people’s thoughts and actions. If your baby is 6 or 9 months old, call UNB’s Child Development Lab at 458-7590 for more information. A Child Scientist Certificate and $20.00 will be provided for each visit.
- Openings available for half-day preschool starting in September for children aged 3-5 years of age. Kindergarten readiness is emphasized for those children starting school in 2008. Located in Lincoln. For more information call Lee at 452-8999 or russell1@nbnet.nb.ca
- Music Classes, for children 0 to 4 years. Music Pups, for babies 0-24 months includes singing, movement and rhythm activities. Sunrise, for children 2 to 4 years of age, features a Teddy Bear theme, where children get to play instruments and enjoy the music. Classes are 45 mins long and held weekly at a convenient downtown location. Cost is only 135$ for a full 10 week program. - The Naasis indoor pool offers a 30 minute swim lesson (40$) twice a week. There are two groups set up; Lil' Tots 1 for babies aged 6-18 months, and Lil' Tots 2 for babies aged 18 months- 3 years.
