"I'm waiting to hear if i have an ectopic pregnancy, has anyone been through it ..what was your experience and what did the doctors do ..?"

Never been through one personally, but I have cared for some patients who have had to have them terminated. Sometimes I think they can give you a drug that will expell the pregnancy but the patients I saw usually had to have a fallopian tube removed. It depends on how far along you are with the pregnancy what they can/will do to terminate it, but termination is mandatory.
my mom had one when i was younger. the dr's didn't find out she was pregnant until about 5 months along (it was almost 20 years ago....) so she had to have an abortion to get rid of him.. it was quite sad she still talks about it a bit..
I had one a few yrs back. However I knew I was pregnant early (within a month) so I got to save my fallopian tube but the baby had to be expelled. I had sharp pain on my left side and it was very painful..they told me it was a ectopic pregnancy and gave me some meds to take to help lose the baby so i wouldnt harm my body.
I hope you dont have one but since then I have given birth to a son and am expecting again :)
