"I just noticed the other day that a good friend of mine uses store brand diapers! I had no idea, but she swears by them, I am wondering what you use? I feel silly for spending the extra money on the Huggies Brand now :P"
I tell this to everyone but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the co-op brand, simply kids. Honestly I found them to be better than Huggies and Pampers, both of which I found leaked... No fun.
When we were using diapers I discovered the Superstore brand "Teddy's Choice *Supreme*" They are awesome!! They don't have that wierd silicone crap that covers your baby's bum, they don't leak, they fit really well and they are almost 10$ cheaper than name brand! Next time I have a baby i will use them again!!
The only time I ever use brand name diapers was when my kids were newborns and I used the Pampers Swaddlers. As soon as the got into size 1, I switch to Life Brand from Shoppers. They are awesome! Kirkland brand from Costco are great too! I never buy brand name anymore because I found the leaked too much for my son and gave my daughter a rash. We also used to use the Teddy's Choice from Superstore on my son until he got into the size 4 or 5 and then they made him start to break out...but up until then they were great!
I guess im not the "norm" here. I swear by pampers. Ive tried the teddy choice from super store and they broke my son out. Ive tried the walmart brand and they leaked all teh time. I guess ive never tried to many otehr types but i love pampers so i doubt ill change oh and they have to be swaddlers then cruisers...the baby dry dont hug him tightyly!!!
I too have used the life brand ones and I think they are great! I really like the Life brand wipes too. They are softer than pampers, and MUCH cheaper! :)
yeah same here we usually buy store brand now ...just because it's cheaper and summer's not peeing as often as she used to ..until she was in size 3 i think , we always got pampers swaddlers tho ..they are alot softer and smell nicer then any other brands we tried ..(too bad they don't make them in bigger sizes)
i usually buy huggies i didn't really like the powdery smell on pampers although i used them when my daughter was first born because they were made smaller than huggies.
I hates huggies with Kryllen, they never fit right. Pampers were ok but we still had quite a bit of leaks... and then we tried Parents Choice from Walmart and they've been great so far! Thats all we use now!
I love, love, love the Superstore's Teddy's Choice brand. You can't beat $24.99 for a huge club pack box. We tried the Life brand but they left that silicone stuff all over Lauren's butt every time. I've only ever used name brand once and that was for Newborn diapers.

I HATE huggies! Every time I have ever put one on my son or daughter they have leaked almost immediatly! I love pampers and they are my main brand. Both of my children had/have sensitive bums and anytime i have changed diapers they have "broken out" Recently I did purchase the walmart "scooter" brand with caillou on them and they were great but went back to pampers because you can't get them in the club packs. I hate the parent choice one's. They have a werid smell once they pee in them and i find they leak with my daughter. I do like the superstore diapers..i'm just usually going to walmart anyways when i'm almost out!
I really like the super store brand pull-ups. They fit better and never leak!! They're also much softer and thinner than the name brand ones. They come in either feelwet liners, or the wetness designs, just like name brand types. Definatly worth atry :)
we sue cloth... but if we have to use diapers (traveling...) we use either gDiapers or Seventh Generation. gdiapers are flushable, 7th G are more natural... all of the chemicals, inks and dyes in pampers/huggies/whatever - scare me... and I dont want them setting wet against my babies skin... 7th G are a great fit, natural and healthier/safer...
We use cloth as well but overnight and traveling we use disposable, huggies or pampers or Kirkland from Costco. We found them just as good as huggies or pampers. I returned teddy's choice and the walmart brand as I found they leaked terribly.
I absolutely HATE "cheap" diapers .. always rip, tear when you are putting them on, and NEVER hold in Pee!

I've tried Walmart brand, Life brand, all the "store" brands and have always had bad luck. But that is due to the fact that they are cheaper, and what was I to expect? lol
I will however try the Superstore pull ups. As someone stated above that they do not leak. i am having trouble with my Easy UPs and my daughter. If we are in the car for any amount of time, they somehow leak out the side? Well, thats what I'm assuming because the seat gets wet a bit!
