I'm looking for information on working from home. I remember hearing about some of the members on facebook saying they had jobs that allowed them to work at home. Can anyone give me any info or links to companies? Thanks

Hey ladies, the company I worked for from home was called Advanis. and their website is AdvanisField.ca
The pay was OK. You need to have a quiet area to work, must preschedule your hours, and cover your own costs. There was paid training. And we did surveys. Some of them were short some not so much.
When you apply you do a voice test and if they like you they call you back to do a phone interview and then so on.
Don't know if they are still hiring or not but it's worth a try! I used to work from 7pm to 11pm every evening after I put my kids to bed.

One of my best decisions was to become a WAHM. There are many options to choose from today so I offer a couple tips:
Ask questions - be truly informed before you commit to anything, especially if there is money involved. Make sure though it is valid current information and not just "stories" your family's friend's cousin twice removed heard from 20 years ago!
Find something that you truly enjoy, have FUN with and can become passionate about because there are many distractions when you work at home.
There are many beneifts from working at home or having a home-based business including being your own boss, income tax benefits, working your own hours and especially being home with your kids. I have seen many more milestones with my youngest whereas my oldest went to the babysitter. Not only does my income pay some bills, but also all the "extras" in our family's life. Things like eating at a restaurant, grabbing an ice cream treat just because, having my soon to be teen son being involved in healthy activities (school sports, church group, Scouts, sport camps), home improvements such as kitchen table set, TVs, Wii (kids call it our exercise machine, lol) and my favorite toy - laptop.
