Wondering if anyone has experienced negative side effects from giving their baby Vit D drops? I am wondering whether it is giving my baby gas at night.
I haven't had any but I have heard other moms say that they thought it made their baby fussy. I had the opposite experience - it actually calmed my baby down. You should talk to your doctor just to be sure though :o)
my son was allergic from the drops - but not the pill - the drops have alot of extra "crap" in them, that the pill does not - (or filters) so I would about 3 times a week, crush a pill and add it to breast milk - and that worked perfect for us :-)

I gave my son the drops, and experience no adverse side effects...I can't see that it would cause gas, but the doctor should know for sure...
Im not sure about this but I do know what your baby can get vit d from sitting by a sunny window.
