Hi there girls, I am shopping for a jogger stroller. I am wondering which ones you used, how much they costed you, and what your rating is, say, out of 5. Thanks
I have 2. I have an Avalon one I bought at Zellers for around $150. Its ok.. Its huge though and doesnt fold so if you need something to transport its not a good one. So a 3/5. And I have a Phil and Ted's E3. This is a FABULOUS stroller!! It actually converts to a double stroller if ever needed by buying an extra seat. I paid $500. Worst every penny. This is easily a 5/5!
We had a Baby Jogger. I don't know what the current model name for the one we had would be, but they're very well made. It did fold, though it was still fairly large. I think the current comparable model sells for around $250. But, I know that where I'm writing from (in the US) craigslist has many of them listed every day. I would definitely look for one used first. Unless someone uses it every day over the course of several kids, it's hard to wear them out.
BTW, for regular strollers, you can't beat the Maclaren Volo (or any Maclaren, for that matter). They are awesome!
Uhhh, Mags, is your stroller black, with yellow? HEHEHE cus I think we have the same stroller, and.... it folds down. LOL... Message me for directions.. LOL
Anyway, I actually love my three wheeler.
You want to look for one that has the option to lock or not lock in the front wheel position. If it is always locked you will hava a hard time doing tight corners.
Also, the one I have doesnt have a hand break, not so nice for going down steep slopes. If you only plan on using it for flat walks, or in malls and such, it should be fine though.
Make sure that you have lots of storage space, below and on back. I think the storage on this one is good, I have never had an issue with it.
The recline goes all the way back, ideal.
The sun shield is great, it can be adjusted to where-ever the sun is...
I HAD a rain cover which I loved, but had to get that seperately, so worth it though.
Anyway, the Avalon goes on sale regularly for about 150$ at Zellers. I would give this one a 4.5/5 only cus I wish it had a hand break, but it is something you or your hubby could install for you relativly cheap/easily.
I have a jogging stroller which I bought at walmart for 100 bucks and I give it a big fat zero out of five. It is a horrible stroller, however, I did see a nice stroller at costco for 160 which is a pretty resonable price for a jogging stroller.
i think i saw that one you are talking about, the black one, and i thought about getting it... see i just dont want to pay a fortune for one if i really dont need to..
Hmmm we have had 5 strollers and I love em all - for runners we have Phil&teds and Kelty - which is a true runner with larger wheels... I also love the Valco and Mountain Buggy, as well as the Peg Perego GT3... I believe if you spend the $$$ they last... we are on baby #3 (hopefully of 5) and they all hold up so well!

Oups I meant to say it doesnt fold down small! It wont fit in the trunck of my Cavalier!
You're right, it wouldn't likely be small enough for a little car like that.
