Hi Girls! I have an almost 2 year old boy, and he has been pretty bored lately. I intend on building him a sandbox once we move (2 weeks! :D) BUT I want to get him a new toy of some sort, I know that all kids are different, so I will give you a little background, he LOVES trucks, balls, and running around outside. I am thinking a remote control truck, OR a kiddie tent with tunnels. If any of you have any ideas of affordable toys I would love to hear from you! Thanks Mamas!!

My 2 year old boy is into anything with wheels! Since it's yardsale season, maybe you could find some outdoor Tonka Trucks. We have a ton and he loves to drive them around the yard and they'd be great in a sandbox.
I have 2 LOL, but he doesn't seem interested in driving them around out side for some reason. I do however want to get him a little 2 step slide, and am hoping to find one this yardsale season!
I am also thinking maybe he might like a trike? Any thoughts on this? When did you all get trikes for your toddlers? Or when do you intend to?
Cole has a tricycle that he got for his 2nd birthday but he's not all that interested in it other than pushing it around. He did get a bubble blowing lawn mower that he really loves though.
OK, does he like pull around toys? Because Austin doesn't. LOL. I think it might be similar... But how much are they? Austin has a few of those self push ride on toys, but he is the same way, he only like to push them over, and play with the wheels or push them back and forth, BOYS lol.
The tricycle we got was like $40 but they had some different ones at Walmart for around $25 or so and the bubble mower was around $25. He's not so much into push and pull toys as he was when he was younger. Now he'd rather get down on the floor and push a car or truck or train (LOVES trains) around. He's also got this little plastic fisher price ride on toy that he used to really love but he's not so much into it now.
Hi all! I thought i would post this here, since it is similar. Anyone elses kids bored lately?? It is too cold out, and my toddler doesnt like going outside, but is so bored inside, HELP!!
Have you tried any local programs? There's lots of programs at the fredericton family resource center, the local libraries and kingswood. Maybe check out Science East depending on his age, or the indoor pool. Hope this helps:)
