OK, so we all know that Britney Spears is in the news everyday! How many of you actually think she is a bad mother, or that it is just the workings of the tabloids.

i think she is a bad mother. What kind of good mother does the things she does??
Ya really like what all did she do? her kd fell out of his highchair, she parties all the time. She drove around with him on her lap, and then not strapped into his carset all flopped over. I think its so weird that they dont just give the kids to the father. After all this!
Lets not forget the time she was so concerned with her latte that she nearly dropped her kid and snapped his head back. I honest to goodness cried when I saw that.
personally, it is really hard to tell because none of us really know her. but just to speculate... well, i saw her kid all hinched over in his carseat and i don't think he was strapped in properly because we have all had a babys head flop sideways in the carseat but that kid was hunched over! about the whole falling out of the highchair thing.. well i barely strap my kids in but i dont think they could fall out of it... but my son fell off the bed once when i turned my head for one second. and i dont think that makes me a bad mother. the ONE thing that gets me about her is that she doesnt seem to spend any time with her kids. she is out partying every single night and is out shopping every day. stay home girl and get out of the public eye! just my two cents :)
I feel so bad for Brittany, yes I said it. In no way do I think she is a bad mother. If any one knows of anyone who is using drugs/alcohol and has a substance abuse problem, it interefers with their entire life. It stops them from being a good parent...because if not for drugs/alchol Brittany may very well be a good parent. Unless the drugs/alcohol is removed from her life we are unable to know if she is a good parent or not.
There are many people who abuse drugs, they are mothers/sisters/daughters/ etc., they could be in your family. No one at the age of 10 says "you know I think I am going to grow up, abuse drugs, become addicted,lose my family, my children" It is a choice to use those first times but it is much more difficult to get off of drugs.
I feel bad for both Britney and her kids. I don't think that she is intentionally a bad mother. But being in the media spotlight and having a substance abuse problem are obviously preventing her from being a responsible mother. She needs help and the scuntinizing by the public is not helping her it is only adding to pressure and stress in her life. I think that if what is written about her is true than she needs to temporarily lose custody of her children until she is better able to care for herself and her children.
Well now that a little more time has passed I think we can all see that she is an unfit mother. Any normal woman who was in danger of losing her children would have done her best to comply with the terms and not be such a tabloid whore. It's not like she couldnt hide away in her mansion with her kids and stay out of the publich eye, but she feels the need to go shopping and out to eat and out partying.. all without her kids. It think they are better off with their dad, we don't see him out in public with them ever.. just my two cents :)

I woudnt say that I care but i do feel bad for her kids. in my opinion it is too hard to say when you dont know the person
