Easing Teething Pain

I need some teething advice, Aiden is cutting 6 teeth right now. Way too many for a little boy!! He is horable, not sleeping, doesnt want to eat. Does anyone have any tips on something I can try to ease his pain. After all the serching for the mesh bags, he doesnt like them.

Have you tried Tyelnol/Acetaminophen/Tempra or Motrin/Advil/Ibuprofen? Motrin/Advil/Ibuprofen at bedtime can work like a charm in helping them sleep since it provides pain relief for up to 8hr. When my kids were cutting teeth and losing sleep over it, I would give them that at bedtime and it really helped. During the day it was really bad, I'd give them something too. Or I'd give frozen washcloths, frozen bagles or a sealed frozen freezie. A friend of mine uses frozen waffles! Even just rubbing his gums with your finger or one of those finger brushes can help. My daughter loves that.

it truly depends on how old aiden is but when my sons were babies and cutting alot of teeth at once and this is depending on his age cheese doodles, chicken bones (the leg and take the grizzle off ) also there is humpries to help ease the pain it works wonders also be cautious of him getting an ear infection they go hand and hand.... they also have teething cookies that may help.

The best thing I ever found for my son while he was teething were the Munchkin Fresh Food Feeders. You can buy them at Walmart and most other large stores. They also sell them on Amazon.com. They are a net that clicks shut so you can safely put frozen food (like bananas or berries), or just plain ice in and let your baby chew without worrying about choking.

My son would never take the rubber baby teethers, and I hated to load him on tylenol all the time, so this was perfect. I usually just froze some of his baby food in ice cube trays then added it to the Munchkin and he was as happy as could be!

I used frozen waffles and bagels, and it was the best thing i ever tried!! Especially the waffles. I would not suggest giving a teething little one anything that freezes solid, like ice cubes, or the water filles teethers. They are not good for baby when frozen, thay can bruise their gums and do more harm then good. Afrozen wash cloth is good though.

I've found a great homeopathic product for teething pain. It's available at Jean Coutu. Boiron; Camilia (~$16) and they also have a kind for colics it works really well. Worth the price!
