How are you staying fit?

I'm wondering what local moms are doing to stay fit. What fitness classes you would recommend (kickboxing, swimming, crossfit, etc.)? Does anyone play on a recreational sports team? I'm trying in get more active but what to know what works for other busy moms. Thanks!!

Body pump is an AWESOME fun class offered at Goodlife (and the Y I think?). You get a really great Full workout for an hour class!
There is also a program called moms on the move in the summer :o)

Hi there, I work out at my own house after the kids go to bed. We happen to have a treadmill so I have begun to use that now, but before that I used videos only. I dont know if you are looking for a cardio workout or not but Jillian Michaels 30 day shred is awesome, its about 25 mins long (the fist section of 3 or 4) and has variations from beginner to advanced and does both cardio and strenght with no equipment apart from 5 lb weights, if you dont have any you can get some cheap at walmart. Its an awsome video, abs, arms, legs, butt, chest, and cardio in 25 mins! what more can a gal ask for?! LOL

I'm considering a personal trainer. It seems expensive, but that would just be more incentive to stick with it and really work hard right? I mean you'll want to get what your paying for....I hope that will be my train of thought anyways. lol

I've heard of people having "pole parties" where someone brings a pole to your house and shows you and your friends how to do a pole dance, but I haven't heard of pole dancing classes in the area....sounds fun though!!!
