Things to do- School Aged Children.

My husband and I are a young (23) couple with no children; our school-aged niece and nephew are coming to Fredericton to stay with us over March break and we are at a loss as to what to do with two kids. Do any Moms have any advice on activities there are around Fredericton? Letting them watch tv all day is not an option and we need to make some plans for them!

You could take them to a movie, Kingswood, swimming or even sliding.

Hi! I know it is hard to find things to do but here a few things:

1. Mactaquac has skating, skiing and sliding if the weather permits
2. Kingswood has bowling, arcade and games for kids
3. Bowling anywhere
4. Fredericton Indoor Pool has daily Family Swim; just check their website

I hope that helps some.

There are also tours of the museums downtown! There is the one right on the corner of Queen street and Regent street (however it is not wheelchair accessible) and there is also another one further behind.....some sort of school days-type museum (I don't remember what the name is!).
